These terms cover this website and anything bought through it. By using the site you accept them.

Who you are dealing with

The site is operated by 메타 (Meta), Unit 905, Building 108, 31 Hongeun-jungang-ro 11-gil, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea. Questions go to dainjjao@naver.com.

Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record. Paddle takes the payment, issues the receipt, and handles any tax. Their terms apply to the payment itself.

What is being sold

A one-off purchase of digital files for a single Korean name you have chosen on this site: the name rendered as a seal on a transparent background, a print-resolution image of the name sheet, and the same sheet as a PDF. The price is $29, charged once. There is no subscription and nothing recurring.

After payment the files are generated and a download link is shown on screen and sent to the email address you gave. The link works for 30 days. After that the files are deleted automatically and cannot be recovered.

What you may do with the files

They are yours. Print them, frame them, put them on a wall, use them online, use them on things you make and sell. You do not need to credit this site. You may not resell the files themselves as a stock asset or run them through another name-generating service as source material.

What this is not

It is a name, chosen for meaning and sound from a fixed set of syllables that Korean parents use. It is not a legal name change, not a translation of your own name, and not a claim about your character or your future. We make no claims about fortune, destiny, or luck, and you should not read any into it.

Names are not exclusive. Someone else may receive the same name. Korean names are shared by thousands of people, and that is normal.

If you intend to use a name as a legal name, on a document, or as a tattoo, have a fluent Korean speaker read it first. We describe what each character means, but we cannot know how a name will land in your particular situation.

Availability and liability

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption. If the files cannot be produced after a payment, you get a refund — see the refund policy.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything connected with this site is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.

Changes

These terms may change. The version in force is the one on this page at the time of your purchase. Material changes do not apply retroactively to an order already placed.
